The TaiSPO 2024 exhibition, set to take place from March 26–29 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2, promises to be a defining moment for the sports and fitness industries under its unifying theme, “Stay Fit, Stay Well.” This iconic event, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), underscores Taiwan’s pivotal role in the global sports equipment market, blending decades of manufacturing expertise with cutting-edge R&D to spotlight innovation, sustainability, and performance. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025, TaiSPO will be held in tandem with the Taipei International Cycle Show (TAIPEI CYCLE), transforming March into “Taiwan’s International Dynamic Month for the Sports and Fitness Industry” and drawing attention to over 1,100 brands from the fields of fitness, tech, and outdoor leisure.
Taiwan’s reputation as a hub for premium sports equipment is reflected in the participation of prominent exhibitors such as Johnson Health Tech, DYACO, and SPORTS ART, alongside collaborative efforts from industry associations like the Taiwan Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association. These organizations are committed to presenting Taiwan’s dynamic capabilities to an international audience. Key zones at TaiSPO will explore every facet of the sports industry. The “Health and Sports Fashion Zone” will showcase Taiwan’s leadership in functional textiles, featuring brands like VERVE, AROAK, and TeamJoined, each blending innovative design with advanced performance to redefine athletic and lifestyle apparel. Complementing this, the Diving Zone will return with an impressive array of diving solutions, ensuring enthusiasts and professionals alike can explore the underwater world with the latest technologies.
A major highlight this year is the expansion of the Sports Tech Zone, branded as Sport-bilities, which will open its doors to international startups for the first time. With pioneering companies set to unveil AI-driven innovations, virtual race platforms, and systems designed for advanced coaching, TaiSPO is shaping the future of fitness and sports. The inclusion of experiential elements, like the “Strongman Fitness Challenge” and the “International Fitness Forum,” will provide dynamic engagement opportunities for visitors while offering insights into global trends and strategies for gym management.
As visitor registration opens online for free admission, TaiSPO invites professionals, enthusiasts, and industry leaders to immerse themselves in this vibrant ecosystem. From revolutionary products to engaging forums and challenges, the event promises not only to showcase Taiwan’s industrial might but to inspire a global audience in the pursuit of health, wellness, and innovation.
