The focal point of the event will be the historic $369 billion Inflation Reduction Act, which presents a unique opportunity for clean energy investments. RISE Energy Summit 2023 aims to facilitate meaningful conversations about leveraging this legislation to improve health, prosperity, and quality of life outcomes in our neighborhoods.
RISE Energy Summit is presented by Growth Opps in collaboration with the GO Green Energy Fund, the first African American-led Green Bank in the United States and the first Green Bank in Ohio. The summit aligns with the principles of Resilience, Innovation, Sustainability, and Equity (RISE), and its primary objective is to promote sustainable and equitable energy practices while reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.
The event will feature plenaries, panels, and interactive breakout sessions focusing on catalytic and sustainable energy investment opportunities. Participants will gain insights into the roles and opportunities available to citizens, small businesses, large corporations, community organizations, and local governments to access the expansive legislation and create a cleaner and more prosperous future.
Keynote speakers and industry experts will share their perspectives on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, particularly in low-income and disadvantaged communities. RISE 2023 aims to mobilize financing and private capital to support sustainable projects that contribute to a cleaner and brighter future.
