Today, Wednesday 17 November 2021 (15.00h CEST) EIT Urban Mobility is organising a debate on the future of urban mobility and the role of cities in the innovation process with elected officials from cities across Europe.
Two years after its launch at the 2019 edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, EIT Urban Mobility brings together cities from all over Europe to exchange on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on urban mobility, and build strategies to work together for a more sustainable cities.
Laia Bonet – Deputy Mayor of Barcelona City Council (Spain) –, Arianna Censi – Deputy Mayor for Transport of Milan City Council (Italy) –, Konstantinos Zervas – Mayor of Thessaloniki (Greece) –, Ana Oregi – Deputy Mayor of Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council (Spain) – and Tunç Soyer – Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality (Turkey) – will share their vision on the future of urban mobility, the central role of cities in the innovation process, and the need for a better and more effective public-private partnerships between local administrations and the private sector
