MEDITECH Brings Transformation in Motion to HIMSS22

WESTWOOD, Mass. – Join MEDITECH during HIMSS22, March 14-18, at the Orange County Convention Center (Orlando, FL) as the company shares how its Expanse EHR is helping to propel customers forward on their digital transformation journey. MEDITECH will have an extensive presence at the health information and technology conference, offering demonstrations of their latest solutions in their booth (#3311), while also participating in the Interoperability Showcase, CMIO Roundtable, strategic sessions, and much more.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to see MEDITECH Expanse in action through various product demonstrations. MEDITECH will be showing its groundbreaking Expanse Genomics solution, which enables clinicians to leverage discrete and complex genetic data for more personalized patient care plans and treatments.
Practice physicians and managers can see how Expanse Ambulatory helps practices to support shifting reimbursement models, as well as overcome staffing shortages and burnout. The solution is now available to independent and physician-owned practices.
Attendees can also catch a glimpse of our Expanse Patient Connect solution, which helps improve the patient experience and reduce appointment no shows by supporting timely and convenient two-way communication via text messaging. The solution enables practices to automatically send patients routine reminders and instructions, receive confirmations back, and include links to launch into their patient portal to complete appropriate pre-visit tasks.
HIMSS will also be the debut of our Expanse Care Compass solution, which provides an integrated set of tools for care managers to proactively manage their patient populations. Care managers can coordinate and prioritize care activities, use patient registries to manage chronic conditions and wellness checks, and document the exchange of information between the patient and the care team, all from a central hub specifically tailored to each care management role.
Additional demonstrations include MEDITECH’s Traverse Interoperability solution, Expanse Point of Care for nurses and therapists, Expanse physician tools, and much more. MEDITECH’s Professional Services will also be on hand to share ways they can help customers optimize their EHR.

The event, focusing on, “Developing a Forward-Looking Mobility Strategy,” will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM EDT, in room W340A. Attendees can network with physician and CMIO peers as they delve further into best practices, pain points, and recent successes. Panelists include Dr. Burchett, as well as Dr. Jim Jirjis, Chief Health Information Officer, HCA Healthcare.
Additionally, MEDITECH will participate in the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase in booth 8240, March 15-17 as part of a use case with CommonWell Health Alliance®. This demonstration will show the power of connected care and the impact of competitive systems working together to improve clinical outcomes, quality, and patient experience.
